| OVERVIEW |
|
The name Amalfi has traveled far and well from Italy's Gulf of Salerno to Florida's Gulf of Mexico. This panhandle presentation greets you with a gorgeous expanse of beach, swimming pools and tennis courts. Within minutes you can tee off on a number of fine courses or cast off from the marina. The catch of the day is invariably excellent, whether served in your own kitchen, a local restaurant or at one of those old-fashioned, mullet fries you'll run into if you're lucky.

Tip of the Day
Every airline but Southwest (where it is every man for himself) boards the rear of the plane first. Some passengers in the rear of the plane put their carryon luggage in an overhead bin near the front. This way they do not have to carry the luggage as far when they deplane. It looks like a sound plan, but when the plane lands and everyone gets up to leave, their bags are gone. Always put your carry-on luggage in either the bin above your seat or under your seat. This will insure you that they do not get legs.
